Day 5 July 9th

We headed out for a small adventure of about 150 miles today.

Our first stop was for lunch and I may have had a best sandwich of my life, a hamburger rueban.

Then we were off to visit Mt. Rushmore. All of the tunnels along the highway point straight at the monument.

They make it easy to pull over for pictures.

My friend Sherm's VROC vest.

Sandy, Skid, and Sherm all trying to get the perfect shot.

These are why it is called the Needles Highway.

This guy and his girl were climbing the rock. He made it to the top and I think she did too.

They are doing a lot of preparation for the big Sturgis Bike week the first weekend of Aug.

The Deadwood Cemetery are where Wild Bill Hickock and Calamity Jane are buried.

We rode our bikes

Chuck coming down from checking out Wild Bill's gravesite.

Trouble giving Cranky a welcome hug.

It's gonna be tuff trying to make all of these events and follow the rules.

Don (Penmaker) and Jamey (Rocky)

Hanging around some ruff fellers at the bar

Susan rode her Iron Horse all the way from Fl. Now she is on the leather one.

Trouble (Melanie) and Badger catching up

Sandy and Sherm hoping to walk off dinner on the way back to the hotel.

This has been making deliveries around Deadwood for awhile now.
